The cottage has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet, plus extra full flushing toilet outside.
Guests have use of a Spa Pool and Swimming Pool at the Homestead, just a short walk across the lawns.

The Sow's Ear cottage is tastefully decorated and very comfortable for a group. It sits comfortably in the privacy of Rāhui’s beautiful gardens established by Jill Maunsell. It is 12 kms up Tinui Valley Road, and was once home to the family of Nelson and Valerie Madden. Wander up and visit Freddie Maunsell’s mill which is still in operation.

Tinui Station Homestead is nestled among the Tinui Taipos sandstone hills, drawing water from the natural Tinui spring, supplying fresh pure water to the property and the private hot spa pools at each cottage. Covering 57 hectares, the beautiful grounds are home to over 30 bird species, and majestic trees including 100 year old oak trees, creating a peaceful nature-rich retreat. The pet friendly cottages are all fully equipped, self contained and extensively refurbished, each with their own BBQ, laundry and woodburners supplied with ample firewood from the land. Poplar Cottage, a four bedroom self-contained cottage for up to eight people. Pet friendly but strictly by arrangement.
The Cottage features four double bedrooms, full bathroom plus separate WC, cosy open plan living area with a wood burner and a continuous verandah on three sides with french doors to the ample afternoon sunshine. Here also, on the lawn in front of the cottage, you’ll find the spa pool under glass under the stars, as well as room to BBQ and dine on the verandah.
The modern kitchen features all you need to prepare meals including full size fridge/freezer, comprehensive crockery and cutlery and utensils, bowls, saucepans and frypans, baking dishes, and BBQ implements for the Bugg BBQ.

The Schoolhouse provides bunkhouse accommodation. Guests may rent a whole bunkroom containing four good sized bunks, or more casual arrangements involving sharing a room with other travellers.
In front of the cottage is a spa pool under the stars, as well as room to BBQ and an outdoor area with seating and a fire pit, where outdoor dining is possible.
Schoolhouse is a renovated and modernised rebuild of an earlier shepherds' quarters. The interior has been carefully redesigned to provide three spacious bunkrooms containing four robust timber king single bunks, each with private phone charging area, reading light and small storage area.
The modernised kitchen features all you need to prepare meals. It contains generous fridge/freezer provisioning, two ovens and one gas and one electric four element hob, dishwasher, extensive benchspace and ample crockery, cutlery and utensils.
The private spa pool is newly filled for you with fresh spring water.
